The Laksari Biomechanics lab focuses on applying engineering methods to problems in biomechanics with the goal of improving human health. We use computational and experimental approaches including finite element modeling, wearable sensors, medical imaging and machine learning to study ischemic brain stroke, traumatic brain injury, and material characterization.
